THE
COMPANY The
original firm was founded by Mr Steen Sehested, a Danish Engineer,
under the name of STEEN SEHESTED-CONSULTING ENGINEER
in1924. In 1956 he took his associates together
with his son Knud Sehested into partnership in the name of STEEN
SEHESTED AND PARTNERS. In the process of Malaysianisation,
the name of Steen Sehested And Partners was changed to SEPAKAT
SETIA PERUNDING in 1970.
On
4th April 1973 Sepakat Setia Perunding was restructured and
incorporated under the name of SEPAKAT SETIA PERUNDING
(SDN) BHD a wholly Malaysian owned private limited
company, in order to serve the expanding clientele and to
develop expertise that is particularly responsive to regional
and local conditions and requirements.

engineering consultancy firm with proven track record of more
than 85 years experience in consulting engineering services
serving both the public and private sectors.
Sepakat Setia Perunding (Sdn) Bhd is registered with The Board
of Engineers Malaysia and The Ministry of Finance Malaysia,
as well as a member of The Association of Consulting Engineers
Malaysia, The Malaysian Water Association and Road Engineers
Association Malaysia.
Sepakat
Setia Perunding (Sdn) Bhd has
had undertaken and completed numerous Goverment and private
projects successfully. These projects include the study, design
and construction supervision of airport and marine terminals,
ports and harbours,dredging and reclamation, drainage and irrigation
works, oil, gas and related facilities, roads, dams, viaducts,
bridges, reservoirs, water supply and sewerage schemes including
treatment plants, commercial buildings and residential housing,
factories, industrial estate, and other high-skilled engineering
projects.

achieved the evolution of form and function compatible with
enviromental and economical statements in a number of projects.
Recent noteworthy prize-winning projects are the RM400 Million
Tanjong Berhala Harbour at Terengganu and the RM110 Million
new EPF High-Rise Building at Kuala Lumpur respectively in the
fields of Marine Engineering and Structural Engineering.
