CYBERJAYA WASTEWATER PROJECT

The project involved conceptual and detailed design under the design and build concept of two units of sewage pump stations for Cyberjaya with a development area of approximately 7,000 ha. The project is implemented in phases. The scope of works includes the laying of sewer force mains 600mm and 1000 mm diameter in sizes, construction of 2 numbers of sewage pumping stations with capacity of 74,500PE (PS4), and 290,000 PE (PS2-9).

INTEGRATED SEWERAGE PROJECT FOR KOTA KINABALU, SABAH

Kota Kinabalu has been experiencing dynamic growth in the last decades. The Sabah State Government recognise the urgent need for the provision of centralised sewerage system required for improving the environment and living conditions of the people; has launched a project to centralise and upgrade the existing sewerage systems for Central Catchment and Southern Catchment in Kota Kinabalu

Central Catchment covers a total land area of approximately 6,063 hectares with the projected population equivalent (PE) of 200,000 up to year 2020. Southern Catchment covers a total land area of approximately 5,106 hectares with the projected population equivalent (PE) of 355,380 up to year 2020.

PUTRAJAYA WASTEWATER DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS

The project involved feasibility, concept and detailed design of the Overall Sewerage System for Putrajaya with a development area of approximately 4,950 ha. The project is implemented in phases between year 1996 to year 2010. The sewerage development includes the laying of trunk sewers up to 2,100mm diameter in size, construction of 15 numbers of sewage pumping stations with capacity of up to 250,000PE, 2 numbers of Sewage Treatment Plant of capacity 100,000PE and 600,000PE, force mains of size up to 1,000mm in diameter.

INTEGRATED SEWERAGE PROJECT IN PUTRAJAYA, MALAYSIA

The development of the wastewater system for Putrajaya comprises of modern water-borne sewage collection system with lifting stations and centralized sewage treatment plants (STP). Two sites for the STP have been identified; one to the north-east of the proposed development for STP1 with 75,000 P.E. and the other south for STP2 with 600,000 P.E.

BAYAN BARU SEWER NETWORK PROJECT (PHASE 2), PENANG

Bayan Baru Sewer Network Phase 2 is designed for 650,000 PE. During preliminary stage, 14 sewer lines have been proposed and approved. However, based on the outcome from the Value Management which has taken into consideration of financial allocation for this project by the Government, only 5 lines were chosen and the pipe diameter ranged from 225mm to 1,800mm.

Sewerage conveyance System for Kempadang (Zone 1) and Kuantan Town (Zone 2 to 5) Catchment Area (total 172.6 km2) comprises the rationalisation of 165 nos. public and private STPs, with 68km sewer (gravity pipe and force main) including major crossing of 350m wide across Kuantan River and 8 nos. of Network Pump Station (NPS).
